Our business partner in Defence is seeking a Senior Project Manager to support the Department of Defence’s AIR6000 program, with specific aspects of this project managed by the Defence Science and Technology Group (DST). This initiative plays a crucial role in enhancing the capability of the Australian Defence Force through its involvement in the F-35A Joint Strike Fighter acquisition.
This role will require you to Collaborate closely with DST and Defence stakeholders to ensure the effective integration and management of multiple projects and schedules within the AIR6000 program.
Other responsibilities include:
- Providing comprehensive project support to multidisciplinary teams and facilitating coordination of project activities; and
- Contributing to the implementation of DST’s science and technology priorities for the JSF project, including providing timely advice, supporting technology transfer and ensuring the development of a robust technology base to enhance ADF capabilities.
Contract Duration: 12 months
Location: This position is based in Canberra, ACT and requires on-site presence.
Security Requirements: Applicants must be Australian Citizens and hold a current NV1 security clearance or above.
